Challenge
• Designing company’s first stainless steel bottle drying rack to match Shine™ Stainless Steel Bottle Brush.
• The drying pegs must hold 8 sets of tallest and heaviest glass baby bottles in the market, and other accessories must fit within the drying rack.
• The product must fold down easily to save space, and the price has to be affordable to compete in the market while it gives Marketing projected profit margins.
Contribution
• Managed product design, project timeline and product development.
• Day to day interaction with Engineers, Marketing, Costing, Packaging and PD Management.
• Lead the entire industrial design process, including ideation, competitor research, material research, sketching, prototyping, 3D CAD construction, 3D rendering, design proposals, CMF specification and sample reviews.
